ALCESXXI (Asociación Internacional de Literatura y Cine Españoles Siglo XXI) nace de un impulso por recuperar y desarrollar la práctica de una crítica reflexiva, abierta, plural e interdisciplinaria. La intervención de ALCESXXI transciende el ámbito académico; somos un colectivo de educadores, creadores, editores y productores, dedicados a la literatura, el cine y la cultura contemporáneos que entendemos la urgente necesidad de crear y fomentar un espacio de diálogo comprometido con nuestro tiempo. ALCESXXI fomenta la implicación social y la responsabilidad educativa de todos los agentes culturales. Nuestra propuesta se concreta en la creación de un espacio que promueva tanto la discusión y el debate como la formación y educación de los miembros.

A diferencia de los seminarios, destinados al estudio teórico de cuestiones planteadas por el propio grupo, el taller será un espacio experiencial de reflexión y creación, donde la teoría y la práctica se vinculan de manera directa. La producción de algo concreto es el objetivo último de los talleres.

A pesar de que cada taller variará en sus objetivos, todos tendrán como punto de partida una pregunta: ¿cómo lograr la aplicación práctica de un conocimiento hecho en común y cómo ponerlo al servicio de la ciudadanía?

El taller estará guiado por un facilitador experimentado que fomentará la participación de todos –gentes de diversas disciplinas– de forma responsable y no jerarquizada. Se trata de que los grupos trabajen de manera creativa para que el taller nos sirva como espacio de experimentación. Cada taller tratará de producir, de forma colectiva, algo que pueda ser compartido y replicable, para que la intervención continúe una vez que el taller haya finalizado. El resultado de cada taller será presentado al resto de los asistentes a las Jornadas el último día de nuestro encuentro. Los resultados, en sus diferentes formatos, serán publicados en la web para uso libre.

ALCESXXI (International Association of Spanish Literature and Cinema Siglo XXI) was born from an impulse to recover and develop the practice of a reflective, open, plural and interdisciplinary criticism. The intervention of ALCESXXI transcends the academic field. We are a group of educators, creators, publishers and producers, dedicated to contemporary literature, cinema and culture, and we understand the urgent need to create and foster a space for dialogue committed to our time. ALESXXI fosters the social involvement and educational responsibility of all cultural agents. Our proposal is for a creation of a space that promotes both the discussion and the debate as well as the training and education of its members.

Unlike the seminars, intended for the theoretical study of issues raised by the group itself, the workshop will be an experiential space for reflection and creation, where theory and practice are linked directly. The production of something concrete is the ultimate goal of the workshops.

Although each workshop will vary in its objectives, everyone will have as a question as a starting point: how do we achieve the practical application of common knowledge, and how do we give the knowledge to citizens?

The workshop will be guided by an experienced facilitator who will encourage the participation of all– people of diverse disciplines– in a responsible and non-hierarchal way. The groups work in a creative way so that the workshop serves as a space for experimentation. Each workshop will seek to collectively produce something that can be shared and replicable, so that the intervention continues once the workshop is finished. The result of each workshop will be presented to the rest of the participants to the conference on the last day of our meeting. The results, in their different formats, will be published on the web for free use.
